MOUNT WASHINGTON IN NEW HAMPSHIRE has had weather you could fairly call “severe” over the past few days. It’s been snowing, and wind gusts have hit 109 miles per hour. The Mount Washington Observatory posted a video on Monday showing two weather observers, Mike Dorfman and Tom Padham taking a break to play in the high winds.

It looks amazing — they’re able to basically sit down against the winds, and when they jump in the air, the wind almost blows them away. Dorfman wrote in a blog post that they are fine, and that he is thankful that he gets to experience those winds, as you could usually only find them in the instance of a hurricane. “I was exhausted after several minutes of playing in the wind,” he writes.
