Hyatt has integrated the Exhale spa brand into its loyalty program, enabling World of Hyatt members to earn and redeem points for Exhale fitness classes and spa treatments.

Hyatt acquired Exhale last year. It has 23 locations across the U.S. and Caribbean.

World of Hyatt members will earn 10 points per eligible dollar spent at participating Exhale locations. Hyatt and World of Hyatt credit card holders will earn three and four bonus points, respectively, per eligible dollar spent.

Additionally, World of Hyatt members can receive their standard tier bonus points on eligible Exhale spending, with Discoverists earning a 10% bonus, Explorists a 20% bonus and Globalists a 30% bonus. The program’s elite Explorist and Globalist members get other Exhale-related benefits, including a free week of unlimited classes and retail and spa discounts.

On the redemption front, members can redeem 2,000 World of Hyatt points for an Exhale fitness class or redeem 12,000 World of Hyatt points for a 60-minute massage or 60-minute facial.

Hyatt is also leveraging the brand with a streaming video platform called Exhale On Demand. Offering barre, yoga, HIIT, meditation and mindfulness programs, Exhale On Demand is available as a subscription service, but will also be offered as an amenity at 136 Hyatt Place hotels and three Hyatt Regency hotels across the U.S. starting October 8.

“The digital fitness industry is growing north of 30% a year. It’s a really exciting place to play in and we think this is a natural extension for a global hospitality platform like Hyatt,” said Exhale CEO Annbeth Eschbach, adding that “fit kits” with yoga mats, weights and other accessories will be made available upon request at select Hyatt Regency hotels in tandem with the Exhale On Demand service.

In June, Hyatt opened the first Exhale spa at one of its hotels. The Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., is part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection and features a 32,000-square-foot Exhale spa.

Hyatt is also in the wellness space with its Miraval resort and spa brand, which the company acquired in early 2017. World of Hyatt members can take advantage of loyalty benefits at the Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa.

Meanwhile, this summer Hyatt debuted Find, a curated selection of wellbeing-focused experiences available to World of Hyatt members.
