LOCATING a clean public toilet in India can be a challenge, but a newly launched Bangalore-based app has been designed to help with that.
Highway Delite maps out detailed information on toilets along Bangalore’s highways and includes photos of the toilets to help users gauge cleanliness.
App founder Rajesh G told Bangalore Mirror, “As a consultant, I had to travel quite a bit and I found it difficult to find clean toilets. So I decided to collate information and put it on an app.”
On top of loo-related information, the app also helps travelers make decisions about pit stops for refreshments, service stations, hotels and lodges, as well as emergency services like medical assistance and vehicle breakdowns.
Plus, users get a list of accident-prone zones and useful emergency contacts.
