The previously exclusive-use-only Samara Manor House, in the Samara Private Game Reserve of the Great Karoo, is now also open to small parties, couples and individual travellers.

The Manor House was previously only available to guests wishing to reserve all four suites of the villa, but due to demand, has also been made available on a non-exclusive use basis. The rooms have consequently received a facelift to prepare for the change, and now offer not only private verandahs, and spacious bathrooms with freestanding baths and showers, but also king-size or twin beds, and tea and coffee stations.

The common areas of the house offer two living rooms, a private lounging alcove, 21m infinity pool, dining room and bar. Yet the house still maintains the privacy and tranquillity that have always been central to the Manor House’s appeal.

Founder of the Manor House, Sarah Tompkins, says: “We’re particularly excited about this new development, as it means that the magic of the Manor House is now open to many more travellers.”
