WHEN Russian photographer Murad Osmann began posting photographs of him following his wife Nataly Osmann to famous sites around the world on Instagram, couples jumped onboard the #followmeto movement to recreate the romance.

Not so for a couple from Taiwan, who parodied the photos in a series that has gone viral for their hilarity and creativity.

Agnes Chien and Forrest Lu (as named on Facebook) took the amusing images on a trip to the U.S., according to CCTVNews, that show Agnes leading Forrest around by his hair, ear, and even nostrils.

One of the photos is captioned: “Oh darling, it should be ‘holding my hand’ instead of ‘holding my hair’… Ouch.”

The photos were shared on China’s microblogging platform, Weibo, and have been shared over 10,900 times.

Murad Osmann’s photos have gained millions of followers around the world, and even landed him a hosting gig on a Russian TV show.

The photographer released behind-the-scenes footage of the work that goes behind the shoots, and it’s not always as picture-perfect as his feed. Have a look below:
